What's the best method to list 300 values? A static list with fixed container sizes and no way to sort or filter the items? Sounds like a horrible experience to me.
In this project, I updated the design and function of the column list to support different types of objects, search and filter the results, and create resizable folders for each result, so rather than scrolling with three tiny folders, the folders stack. Click to see the designs.

Every once in a while (thankfully, not more often than that), the CEO reaches out to your team directly with an ask. You all know the feeling. Stress, dread, fear. These are all appropriate emotional responses. But after the shock wears off, you realize the gloves are off. The CEO just handed you a get-out-of-jail-free card and a hall pass to do whatever it takes to get it done. So we did. We came up with a five-year vision for the data warehouse.
He loved it so much that it became that year's warehouse.
